Who are some good new musicians out these days?

I've dropped TV and radio bc it's smothered in ridiculous noise like Lady Gaga, The Ting Tings, and all this weird stuff that I find to be talentless and annoying. I want some bands/singers who have TRUE talent... Who is someone that just blows you away when you hear them? I've recently discovered Jessie J, whom I fell in love with. Her voice is insane. I really like Adele too. I'm looking for musicians with good vocal ability such as that, and maybe some originality that's not just considered original bc they have random senseless lyrics and run around half naked with face paint and stupid hair cuts. I appreciate heavier stuff as well and I'm not particular about genre (just not country), so anything you've got, let me know. thx =)
